You probably have questions for us.

You should receive an email shortly that addresses some of the most commonly asked questions regarding the program. Meanwhile, you can view this short video about why the Center for Integrated Primary Care at UMass Chan Medical School is the right place for you to gain valuable theoretical knowledge, but also the benefit of the real-world experience of our renowned faculty.

What Sets Us Apart

  • Convenient online format built for adult learners by subject matter experts and educators
  • Six modules cover the core content and specialized skills demanded of care coordination teams in Integrated Primary Care settings; these are required
  • Additional modules provide participants with content on special populations (e.g. working with children and families, or the homeless or elder patients); bio-medical topics and psychosocial issues in care management. There is flexibility so that those taking ICM can craft the curriculum that works best for them, depending on their background and experience
  • This course has been designed by MASS Medical School faculty actively working in the field
  • Additional live online sessions give participants a chance to clarify concepts from the course, or to explore topics and cases from their own practice
  • Participants have 6-8 weeks to finish the course for credit, but access to course materials and invitations to Q&A sessions continue for a year, acknowledging that incorporating the principles of effective care management is a process that takes time. We are committed to supporting our current participants and our alumni
  • CIPC has an outstanding reputation, having provided, over the last 10 years, online education to more than 3,600 health care professionals around the world
