Simulation as an Educational Tool
Ika Noviawaty, MD, associate professor, co-director of the epilepsy surgery program, director of the epilepsy monitoring unit at UMass Chan and UMass Memorial Health. She is currently a Senior Counselor at Large for the Massachusetts Neurological Association. She has conducted research in various topics in Epilepsy, notably on Ketogenic Diet in Adult Super Refractory Status Epilepticus and is also a gifted educator, and for several years has been conducting education simulation sessions for students and residents in our iCELS simulation center.
