We would like to welcome Daksha Gopal our newest Biostatistician, to the Department of Neurology.  

Daksha joined our team in February 2023, with over 15 years of experience working behind the scenes with data. She has a Master's degree in Epidemiology and BioStatistics from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from UCLA.  
 
The role of Biostatistician links her professional interests with her love for data. She has research experience in public health with a focus on health services maternal and infant health outcomes. Her prior research has included the analyses of linked vital records to all payers claims, and clinical databases in Massachusetts, to examine maternal and child health outcomes among women who received assisted reproductive technologies (ART).  She also brings additional research interests in data linkages, longitudinal health data, programming, and epidemiology. 

Daksha is in the Sherman Center and enjoys board games and solving puzzles, especially Sudoku.
