Janice Legace began her twenty-seven-year career with the UMass family as a staff accountant for the Department of Neurology. UMass has awarded her the opportunity to work in various roles with programs such as Commonwealth Medicine - Health & Criminal Justice Programs, working in every Massachusetts state prison in support of the Comprehensive Medical Services contract, supporting the Department of Medicine as an Academic Administrator, and her most recent position as Associate Director of Office of Sponsored Programs.

In 2015 she became the recipient of the Chancellor's Award for Advancing Institutional Excellence in Civility.

We are very excited to welcome Janice back to Neurology as our Research Project Manager. We look forward to her expertise and understanding of grants to supporting our neurology research community.
