Specialties

UMass Chan Graduate Nursing Students and Graduates of the Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Educator tracks are eligible to enroll in one of the following specialties:

Cancer Care

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in cancer care and education within the adult-older adult patient population.

Cardiovascular Care

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles across the continuum of care from acute/critical care settings to ambulatory/community settings

Critical Care

Prepares critical care nurses for the advanced practice nursing role to manage critically ill patients.

Nurse Educator

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in faculty or staff development.

Palliative Care

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in palliative care within the adult-older adult patient population.
