Why UMASS?: UMASS has everything I look for in a program. Residents have a robust clinical experience and leave as competent and technically very skilled surgeons. The surgical department leadership is supportive and approachable. They foster a welcoming environment that is ideal for learning. The attendings are engaged and personable. And finally, the residents are very close to one another, like family.
Favorite thing to do in Worcester: I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, ordering take-out for dinner after a long day at work and unwinding with my residency friends, going to brunch post-call, going to dog-friendly breweries, riding our Peloton, going on a walk or run with my dog
