APA IPS Conference

Heather Patrick presented at the APA IPS conference as a Helping Hands grant recipient.  For the past three years she's worked with Dr. Margret Chang from the Department of Pediatrics to create mentoring opportunities for students from the med school and nursing school with local teenagers who are in recovery from substance use disorders.  They teach a health promotion curriculum to the adolescents and this is also the basis of her DNP project.
