Do you know a high school student interested in nursing? The Nursing Schools Expo hosted by the Worcester Nursing Pipeline Consortium and the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the UMass Chan, Albert Sherman Center. This is a free event for high school students interested in nursing as a career, their parents, teachers and guidance counselors. The event will include Nursing Schools with exhibits, admission coordinators and nursing students along with a program highlighting different aspects of nursing as a career for life. Location: UMass Chan, Albert Sherman Center multi-purpose rooms, AS5-2072, AS6-2072 and AS8-2072.
Please join the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Scholarly Project Presentations on April 30, 2019 5:00 to 8:00 pm, There will be a reception following outside the multi-purpose rooms.
Students present an evidence-based practice project designed to demonstrate clinical scholarship that improves practice and healthcare outcomes. The scholarly project integrates knowledge from the DNP core and specialty courses, along with direct and indirect practicum experiences that demonstrates advanced practice nursing leadership at the practice doctorate level.
