    Nancy R. Kowal, MS’95, RN, NP is an assistant professor and a consultant at the UMass Chan Medical School. For more than 20 years, she worked as an assistant nurse practitioner at UMass Memorial in the Department of Anesthesiology.

    As part of this program, we will be honoring Lillian Goodman, EdD, dean and professor emeritus, and a pioneer and passionate advocate of advanced practice nursing education in Massachusetts. Dr. Goodman passed away on January 24 at the age of 94.
