Postdoctoral opportunities
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics or related area. Must be clear written and oral communicators, well organized, enthusiastic, and dedicated to moving science forward in a collegial fashion. Graduate students
Students are provided with the tools needed to succeed in their career path, including basic science understanding, project design, experimental design and interpretation, oral and written data communication, interpersonal contacts at a local, national and international level, and the intangible skills needed to succeed in academia.
Rotation projects are available in pancreatic islet biology, with a focus on how nutrients regulate growth and regeneration of insulin-producing beta cells and glucagon-producing alpha cells. Email: michael.brehm@umassmed.edu
