BiographyHometown: Milford, MA Undergraduate Institution: Assumption University Future plans: Bariatric & MIS Fellowship, UMass Chan Medical Center, Worcester, MA. Why UMASS?: The people! Everyone is so kind and willing to help and they truly care about you as a person. The camaraderie amongst the residents immediately stood out to me. I was looking for a program that would train me to be both an excellent technical and academic surgeon, and UMass was the perfect fit. My journey in medicine started here as an undergraduate student and I could not be happier to be back as part of the UMass family. Favorite thing to do in Worcester?: I love trying all of the different local restaurants. There are so many amazing places to eat and have a good time with friends and family. I like being outdoors and there are plenty of places to do outdoor activities, like fishing, in the surrounding towns.
