Massachusetts law requires students to have health insurance.
The Bursar’s Office is responsible for assisting students with health/dental insurance enrollment. Please contact the Bursar with any insurance related or enrollment questions.

PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to switch your primary care provider and establish as a patient at UMass Memorial, please be sure that your insurance choice is accepted by the practice, otherwise you cannot be seen. UMass Financial Counselling can assist students with insurances accepted by UMass Memorial practices. Their number is (508)334-9300.
BILLING
Student are responsible for all copays, deductibles, and fees according to their insurance. If you have received a bill from a provider at UMass Memorial and believe there may be an error please contact the billing department as noted on your billing statement.
If you receive a bill for your annual Quantiferon Gold requirement, please email student health and scan a copy of the bill for Studenthealth@umassmemorial.org
