Seasonal Flu Vaccine 2025- 2026

To: All Graduate School of Biomedical Science Students

This year’s 2025-2026 flu season is fast approaching. Listed below are several options if you choose to receive a seasonal flu vaccine: 

• Contact your primary care provider’s office or receive at your next visit.
• Visit a pharmacy in the area- There are multiple pharmacies in Worcester and Shrewsbury (within a few miles from campus)
• Visit any grocery store with a pharmacy that offers flu vaccine.
• Through your employer, if offered

Remember to bring your insurance card. Most insurances cover the flu vaccine.

Students receiving the flu vaccine in Massachusetts do not need to provide a copy of their flu vaccine to Student Health. Student Health can obtain documentation through the Massachusetts Immunization Information System (MIIS). If you receive a flu vaccine outside of Massachusetts or have opted out of MIIS please scan a copy of your documentation to the Student Health e-mail. studenthealth@umassmemorial.org.
