Hospital Medicine/Wards

Welcome to the Wards! Please don't be shy to reach out to the hospitalists at any time with questions, concerns. The office door is always open. Some helpful items to get you started:

  • General Goals and Objectives and Night Float Goals and Objectives
  • Coming soon (Oct/Nov 2025): The Pediatric Ward Guidebook! The following items are referenced within the guidebook, included here for ease:
  • Plan to request feedback each Thursday/Friday! Consider using this feedback form if it fits your learning style.
  • If you're on Red team, do check out the heme/onc rotation page as well
  • As always, morning and block conferences are protected learning time. Let the chiefs know if you have concerns.
  • For the months of July-December and April-June, if patient care allows (low to medium census), interprofessional sims take place! This generally occurs on Thursdays - however, given high census these days, Kate Wynne and the chiefs will try to be creative and find opportunities at any time.
