Winna Xia, BS, medical student, Bosco Lab

Winna Xia, BS, joined Bosco Lab as a medical student in August 2025. Winna graduated from Tulane University in 2023 with a BA in History and a BS in Neuroscience, along with a minor in Spanish. During her time there, she worked as a research assistant investigating pathological changes in microglia following traumatic brain injuries. She went on to earn her MS in Medical Sciences at Boston University, where she spent her research year studying digital phenotyping in mental health disorders. Winna is interested in studying the pathological mechanisms underlying traumatic brain injuries and ALS.
