Pat Gordon, Senior Administrative Secretary

Have you met Pat Gordon, Neurology’s senior administrative secretary supporting Movement Disorders and the Stroke and Vascular Neurology divisions.  

Originally from New York City, Pat became interested in a career as a medical secretary in neurology partially because of her family's history with stroke episodes. Although I did not have the opportunity to become a doctor, my decision to work at UMass offered the opportunity to support doctors specializing in life-saving treatments in Neurology.

Pat has a BA in English with a concentration in Writing. Before joining Neurology, Pat worked in the Chancellor’s office at UMass Chan after working in the private sector for 15 years.  

Did you know, she was a former 4^th Manhattan District Spelling Bee Champion?
