UMass Center for Health Equity Intervention Research (CHEIR)

Through a grant awarded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) to establish the UMass Center, UMass Chan in partnership with UMass Boston, develops innovative solutions to eliminate health disparities and equip the next generation of researchers to help better serve vulnerable populations. The grant offers UMass Chan an important opportunity to promote health equity and reduce health disparities in the Massachusetts communities that our institutions serve.
