Safe Homes

Safe Homes is a program for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) young people between the ages of 14 and 23, which offers support and resources in a safe and nurturing environment. Young people at Safe Homes come from Worcester and the surrounding towns, each with different experiences and backgrounds, and are united in their support for one another. Safe Homes is the only program in Central Massachusetts that provides specialized services to LGBTQ youth. UMass Chan has formed a strong bond with Safe Homes over the years and continues to support them with many initiatives.
