 Steven Stowe, MBA

 Senior Director, Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement

Steve Stowe has worked in Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement in the Human Resources Office for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since June of 2015, most recently serving as Senior Director for the team. He is also Co-Chair of the Minority Academic Advancement Committee. Prior to joining UMMS, Stowe served in a variety of Human Resources positions in the healthcare and communications fields. Stowe has over 20 years of Human Resources experience and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management from Assumption College, and a Masters of Science in Management (MSM) from Lesley University.

 Executive Recruiter

Barbara Guertin has served as Executive Recruiter on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since January 2020. Prior to joining the Talent Acquisition and Engagement Team, Guertin served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant for UMass Memorial Medical Center. Guertin's experience prior to UMMS was a variety of talent manager and executive recruitment positions in the healthcare, biotech and medical device fields. Guertin holds a BA in Liberal Arts and Theater Arts from Rutgers University and an MBA from Fitchburg State University (expected 2020).

 Talent Acquisition and HR Reporting Analyst

Mike Racine has served as Talent Acquisition and HR Reporting Analyst in the Human Resources Office for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since July 2019. Prior to this role, he held numerous talent positions on the team since May 2014. Prior to joining UMMS, Racine held a communications position at Assumption College and an intern position at UMMS. Racine holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Assumption College.

Sr. Talent Specialist

Viji Dinakaran has served as Sr. Talent Specialist on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since July 2019, and has been with the team in various talent roles for over 6 years. Prior to joining UMMS, Viji served as the Assistant Manager of Human Resources for Ajuba Solutions in India. Viji has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the Ethiraj College for Women, India, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resources Management from the Madras School of Social Work, India.

 Talent Specialist II

Cynthia Hilgren has served as Talent Specialist II on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since February 2018 where she is responsible for delivering all facets of talent acquisition throughout Mass Biologics. She also is responsible for coordinating and managing the Temprite Temporary Staffing business. Prior to joining UMMS, Hilgren served as Senior Recruiter for Faith Casler Associates for 16 years. Hilgren holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Certified Personnel Consultant, CPC certification.

 Talent Specialist II

Anna Thomen has served as Talent Specialist II on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team in the Human Resources Office of Employee Relations for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since August 2017. Prior to joining UMMS, Thomen served as Human Resources Coordinator for Heywood Healthcare. She has also held a number of account and client manager positions. Thomen holds an MA in Mass Communication from the University of Hartford.

 Senior Talent Associate

Amanda Gonzalez has served as Senior Talent Associate on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since November 2019. Prior to joining UMMS, Gonzalez served in a number of recruitment roles for various companies. She also owns her own photography business - Amanda Lee Photography. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Arts from the College of Holy Cross and is an active spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.

 CWM Boston HR Manager

Bonnie Kumar has served as the Human Resources Manager, in the Human Resources Office of Employee Relations for the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) since March of 2016, prior to that she was the Recruiting Manager at MassBiologics. In this role, she brings extensive experience in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Education and Training along with Customer Care. Prior to joining UMMS, Bonnie was a National Dentist Recruiter responsible for the full life cycle recruiting for 9 different states. Bonnie has over 10 years of Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations experience and holds a Bachelors Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
