External Application Scholarship Opportunities

  • The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) is pleased to share that the application for the second round of the graduate level Behavioral Health Workforce Scholarship program is open now through January 20, 2026 at Office of Student Financial Assistance / Massachusetts Department of Higher Education   
  • These scholarships are funded by the Behavioral Health Trust and support actively enrolled full time and part time students pursuing master's degrees and graduate level certificates in a range of behavioral health programs including social work, mental health counseling, substance use counseling, and mental health nursing programs.  Awards are up to $12,500 for eligible students for the 2025-2026 academic year. Those who received awards last year must re-apply and may be eligible for a second year of funding, up to $25,000 per student.
