Concentrations

UMass Chan Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing Students and Graduates of the Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Educator tracks are eligible to enroll in one of the following concentrations:

Cancer Care

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in cancer care and education within the adult-older adult patient population.

Critical Care

Prepares critical care nurses for the advanced practice nursing role to manage critically ill patients.

Nurse Educator

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in faculty or staff development.

Palliative Care

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in palliative care within the adult-older adult patient population.

Women's Health Care

Prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in caring for vulnerable populations of women. The concentration focuses on providing safe, effective, and comprehensive sexual and reproductive health (SRH) to women across the lifespan.
