Dr. Joyce Rosenfeld

Dr. Joyce Rosenfeld has both a clinical and an academic presence at UMASS. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, and in her academic role she enjoys being a Learning Community Mentor (Blackstone House!). Dr. Rosenfeld is one of the faculty providing Flexible Clinical Experiences on the subjects of Autism and LGBT Healthcare disparities, and the Emergency Clinical Problem Solving course in the fourth year medical school curriculum.

Dr. Rosenfeld is a faculty advisor for QMASS and a mentor in the Mentoring Circles Program through the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity. She serves on various committees including the Counsel on Equal Opportunity and Diversity and as Co-Chair of the LGBTA committees on both the clinical and academic sides.
