She/HerKatie started out in northeastern Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at Yale, where she majored in molecular, cellular and developmental biology. She then attended medical school at Johns Hopkins. During medical school, she pursued a year-long dermatoepidemiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. She went on to complete her internship in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital before starting dermatology residency at UMMS. She is interested in pediatric dermatology and dermatoepidemiology. Katie loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys running and has completed several marathons, including three Boston Marathons. On the weekends, she often spends a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and baking and trying out new recipes. She also enjoys hiking, traveling and playing board games.

Steven Krueger, MD

Hometown: Waltham, MASteven grew up in Waltham, MA. After finishing his undergraduate studies at Boston College, he attended the UMass Chan Medical School. He completed a transitional year internship at Cambridge Health Alliance before returning to UMass for dermatology residency. Steven is currently a Mohs surgery fellow. His clinical interests include dermatologic surgery and cosmetic procedures. He has published several journal articles and textbook chapters, and gives lectures to UMass Chan students. He is very passionate about teaching and mentoring students and residents. In his free time, Steven enjoys live music, podcasts, Netflix, eating good food, and chasing around his busy toddler!
