    Andressa grew up in the bustling city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She attended medical school at the University of Sao Paulo in Ribeirao Preto, where she also completed her dermatology residency. To further specialize in clinical trials, Andressa moved to Boston to earn her Master's in Clinical Investigation at Harvard Medical School. She then joined Dr. Harris' clinical research team at UMass Chan as the recipient of the Skin of Color Society’s research fellowship, focusing on trials in vitiligo, lupus erythematosus, epidermolysis bullosa, and other skin conditions. After completing her intern year at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Brockton Hospital program, Andressa is now delighted to return to UMass.

    Her clinical interests include dermatology clinical trials, skin of color, vitiligo, and epidermolysis bullosa. In her free time, Andressa enjoys spending time with her fiancé Kevin and their high-energy Aussie dog, Edison. She loves HIIT workouts, hiking in U.S. national parks, scuba diving, and traveling abroad. She also cherishes visiting her family in Brazil, Japan, and Nashua, NH.

    Brett McLarney

    Brett was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. He received his BA from Swarthmore College, where he played men's soccer and double-majored in mathematics and chemistry. After college, Brett moved to Atlanta to pursue his PhD in chemistry at Georgia Tech, where, as an NSF Fellow, he applied computational methods to develop carbene insertion reactions for drug library expansion. He attended medical school at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and then completed his internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Brett is thrilled to remain in Massachusetts to join the UMass Dermatology Residency Program. His medical interests include value-based healthcare delivery, artificial intelligence in healthcare, dermatopathology, and procedural dermatology. In his free time, Brett loves mountain biking, skiing, playing soccer and board games, and engaging in the Worcester food and brewery scene.

    Tracey Otto

    Hometown: South Orange, NJ

    Tracey was born in Livingston and raised in South Orange, New Jersey. She attended Cornell University for her undergraduate studies, where she majored in Biology & Society, minored in Nutrition, and participated in 4 years of Division I track and field.  Afterwards, she attended Tufts University where she obtained her Masters of Science degree and returned to New Jersey where she obtained her MD from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, graduating with a Distinction in Diversity. During this time, she also completed translational research on skin toxicities (cutaneous immune related adverse events)  secondary to checkpoint inhibitors, working alongside  Dr. Steven Chen) during her third year. After completing her preliminary residency year in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard, she stayed on to work as a sub-investigator for 1 year on phase I, II and III clinical trials focusing on hidradenitis suppurativa, atopic dermatitis, and keloids, working closely with Drs. Alexa Kimball and Martina Porter. She is grateful and excited to complete her training in dermatology at UMass. She remains interested in complex medical dermatology and cutaneous oncology and in her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, brunching, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.

    Gabriella Paquette

    Hometown: Berkley, MA

    Gabby grew up in Berkley, MA, a small town in southeastern Massachusetts. She went to Northeastern University in Boston for undergrad where she studied Health Science/Public Health and worked part time at both Boston Children's Hospital and a small dermatology clinic triggering her interest in pediatric dermatology and community health. She then went to UMass Chan for medical school where she met her fiance, Skelly, and did her internship at Cambridge Health Alliance. Outside of work, she loves exploring new restaurants, traveling with friends and family, taking all the exercise classes (peloton included), and taking care of her growing plant collection. So excited to return to my UMass Dermatology family!
