Dr. Sean Ryder was invited to give a talk at Wesleyan by a former BMB trainee, Dr. Tere Padilla.

Thank you to Dr. Tere Padilla-Benavides for hosting Sean Ryder’s visit to Wesleyan University. Formerly part of our BMB department, Tere is now an assistant Professor of Molecular Biology & Biochemistry studying the importance of transition metals in mammalian development. picture of Sean and Tere together.Sean gave a guest lecture on genome editing and how it is used in his lab. Besides discussing science, Sean met with some of the SACNAS chapter members at Wesleyan, where Tere is doing an amazing job promoting diversity in science.
