Rotation Students

Students are welcome to rotate in the Walhout Lab. Projects which are experimental, computational, or both are available, depending on the interest and the expertise of the student. A student usually teams up with another lab member on their research project.  Students are strongly encouraged to discuss their scientific interests with all lab members during their stay. At the end of the rotation, students will present their work in lab meeting. Finally, students will participate in the weekly Systems Biology journal club.

Post-doctoral Fellows

We encourage applications from PhDs with a broad interest in Systems Biology, either experimental, computational, or both. Applications should be sent by email to Marian Walhout. In your application please detail your scientific background and your main research interests. Detailed proposals are also welcome.

Major Qualifying Projects for undergraduate students

Students from local colleges like Worcester Polytechnic Institute are encouraged to apply for MQP research. We have had many students with backgrounds in biology, computer science, or math in the lab and encourage dynamic, smart, and highly motivated students to join us.

Summer Interns

We usually have positions for interns in the summer, from mid-May to late August. If you are interested, please send an email to Marian Walhout. In your email please describe your science background and why you are interested in performing researching in this lab.
