Administrative Core

The UMass Metabolic Disease Research Center (MDRC) is directed by Dr. Jason Kim (Professor of Molecular Medicine and Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes), who oversees the scientific and administrative operation of the MDRC.  Dr. Kim is responsible for  1) the processing of the Material Transfer Agreement and/or Conditions of Use, 2) the receipt and evaluation of Requests for Services, 3) management of the Center budgets, 4) service invoice and billing, 5) administrative and scientific database, 6) consultation with the user, 7) quality control, rigor, and reproducibility, 8) training programs, 9) management of the website, 10) interaction with other core facilities at the UMass Chan Medical School, and 11) provision of scientific enrichment program.
