The opportunity to get a well-rounded community psychiatry experience as well as see a variety of inpatient settings including long term state hospital, forensics, and med-psych really drew me to UMASS. Their strong program in combined child psychiatry also was a big draw!
I love the balance between the peace and quiet of a suburb and the excitement of city environments. It is easy to find natural beauty here but also easy to find a great restaurant, concert or art exhibit.
