Date Posted: Wednesday, November 12, 2025

Law & Psychiatry Program Co-Director, Natalie Anumba, PhD, ABPP, has been named a 2025-2026 APA congressional fellow. She will be working in the office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D–Illinois) on the Health and Disability Policy team.

APA and the American Psychological Foundation annually sponsor four fellows to work on the staff of U.S. members of Congress and congressional committees. The purpose of this fellowship is to provide psychologists with an invaluable public policy learning experience, to contribute to the more effective use of psychological knowledge in government, and to broaden awareness about the value of psychology-government interaction among psychologists and within the federal government.
