UMass Chan Medical School Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing Begins First Intake

WORCESTER, Massachusetts, 1986 - First class of 30 students matriculates. Over the decades, the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing program would incorporate the benefit of simulation methods including task trainers, manikins and standardized patients into its curriculum. By 2020, UMass Chan Medical School's Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing program sits among the top 1% of public nursing programs nationwide in the U.S..
