Visiting Resident Electives

Residents and fellows who are enrolled in ACGME-accredited programs under the sponsorship of other teaching hospitals or medical schools may be eligible to participate in elective training at UMass Memorial Medical Center under the supervision of UMass Chan Medical School faculty. Residents must meet requirements for participation in an elective experience including an active Massachusetts Medical License.  Additional requirements are assigned to visiting rotators as part on an onboarding package through our MedHub system.

The visiting resident must first contact the program of interest to confirm that they have a spot available for the desired rotation month.  Please note rotation dates are not available in the months of July and August.

Your visiting rotator department contact will be able to answer additional questions regarding your rotation and visiting trainees can monitor their compliance with onboarding requirements in MedHub to ensure an on time start.
