Qualitative Research Core

The purpose of the Qualitative Research Core is:

1. To provide leadership within UMass Chan to foster high-quality, high-impact qualitative research and education. 

The overarching goals of the Qualitative Research Core are:

1. To assist UMass Chan and affiliate investigators with the design, implementation, and analysis of qualitative research;
2. To assist UMass Chan and affiliate investigators in preparing qualitative grant submissions and manuscripts;
3. To foster an interest in qualitative research among UMass Chan and affiliate investigators through timely qualitative methods seminars;
4. To develop qualitative research methods courses, including courses focused on ethnography and general qualitative research methodology.
