Constance Nichols, MD, MS, FACEP

Dr. Nichols is an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine and a clinical associate professor of Emergency Medicine in the UMass Chan Medical School. She trained in Emergency Medicine at the Texas Tech University Regional Academic Health Center in El Paso, TX and did her internship in Internal Medicine at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital/Bowman Gray School of Medicine IM Residency Program. She is a graduate of the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University.
Dr. Nichols completed her Masters of Science Degree in Medical Informatics at Northwestern University. She is the director of emergency medical informatics for the clinical system and is an Epic Physician Builder and Epic ASAP Physician Champion.
She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics. Her interests include all facets of medical informatics including end user experience and educating/utilizing best practices via the electronic health record.
