Dr. Heitmann is an Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She is Co-Director of Undergraduate Education and is very active in the teaching of medical students. She directs the Emergency Medicine Simulation experience and the Emergency Medicine Mini-Selective for fourth year students and nurse practitioner students. She co-directs the fourth year Emergency Medicine Elective.
Her interests include undergraduate education, medical simulation and international emergency medicine.
