UMass Memorial-Marlborough Hospital Diversity and Inclusion Council
At Marlborough Hospital, we recognize that diversity is integral to the mission and will allow us to give the best possible care. We have formed a Diversity and Inclusion Council made up of a broad range of employees from all levels, recognizing the big eight diversity dimensions including; race, gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity/nationality, ability (disability), class (organizational role and job function) as well as religion. Diversity is difference. We have adopted the diamond as our symbol because we are rich in diversity.
The Council meets every 4th Wednesday in the Library room from 3pm-4:30pm. Please feel free to stop by and share your thoughts or, you can drop your suggestions in the idea box located on the ground floor near cafeteria. More to come, so stay tuned.
Marlborough Hospital Diversity Council has chosen the image of a diamond to symbolize the many facets of diversity.
