Jorge Sanchez

Jorge Sanchez, program director for diversity and inclusion, provides vision and leadership to effectively integrate diversity, equity and inclusion into the strategic planning process for ForHealth Consulting and contributes to the efforts that will ensure the organization meets the DEI goals and milestones in UMass Chan’s IMPACT 2025 strategic plan. He assumed this newly created position in March 2022.

Previously, as the director for client relations at ForHealth Consulting, Sanchez managed the Office of Client Relations team that oversees contractual service obligations with Massachusetts state agency clients and acted as the main liaison between ForHealth Consulting business units and external clients. He also supervised special projects and provided staff with consultative support and training on client relationship management best practices, business strategies and objectives to advance clients’ priorities and exceed their expectations.

Sanchez serves as co-chair of the ForHealth Consulting Cultural Diversity Committee and is a member of UMass Chan Medical School’s Committee on Equal Opportunity and Diversity, LGBTA Subcommittee, and Colorful Voices Network.

Sanchez joined ForHealth Consulting from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where he most recently served as director of communications and training in the Enterprise Invoice Management/Enterprise Service Management Office. In this role, he was responsible for agency-wide business process requirements and analysis for more than 400 contracts totaling $300 million. Prior to that, he held the roles of director for health communications in the Office of HIV/AIDS at the Department of Public Health, and program director for statewide HIV Education and Recovery Environments (SPHERE) at Health Imperatives, Inc.

Sanchez has Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
