I study the molecular mechanisms of how non-pregnant uterus generates peristalsis. Using pharmacological, biophysical and genetic approaches, I identify genes responsible for the peristalsis and determine how they impact reproduction and adenomyosis. I like to go hiking or read books on ancient civilizations in my spare time.

I am interested in uncovering the molecular mechanisms which underlie the pathophysiological functions of Ca2+-activated Cl- channel TMEM16A and bitter taste receptors. In my spare time, I enjoy reading.
