Clinical Rotations

The five-year block schedule provides exposure to both inpatient and outpatient urology practice, and allows flexibility for resident-designed electives.  The outpatient block is designed by the resident to gain optimal exposure to general urology as well as the urologic sub specialties. 
Urology Residency Program Rotation Schedule 
BLOCK    Block 1 (9 Months General Surgery, 3 months Urology)
SITE    General Surgery Rotations - Inpatient Memorial, Inpatient University, (Transplant, Vascular, Peds, Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, etc.)
BLOCK    Block 1 (12 months)
SITE   Inpatient Rotation at Memorial Hospital/ 1/2 day of week of Resident Clinical at Memorial
BLOCK   Block 1 (4 months)  Block 2 (4 months)  Block 3 (1 month)  Block 4 (3 months)
SITE Inpatient Rotation at Memorial Hospital  Outpatient Rotation  Elective  Pediatric Urology
