Lilia Dean

Lilia graduated from Northeastern University in 2024 with a bachelor’s in Cell and Molecular Biology where she completed two industry research co-op positions at Biogen and Alloy Therapeutics. During her graduate work, she is interested in the optimization of prime editing for higher fidelity editing and increased efficiency for large genomic insertions. She hopes to leverage DNA repair pathways, protein engineering, and delivery improvements to ultimately enable vast therapeutic applications. Outside of lab, she loves to bake, play golf and spend time with her family.
