NIH-funded positions are available at all levels in the Munson lab,  Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biotechnology

The Munson lab is interested in exploring the molecular mechanisms of exocytosis, as well as defects in endocytosis leading to immune and other disorders. We are currently interested in applications from qualified candidates. Applicants must have, or expect to obtain shortly, a B.A. (or equivalent) or Ph.D. in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Cell Biology, or a related field. Previous experience in these disciplines is preferred but not required. Postdoctoral fellows, rotation students, post-baccalaureates, and summer undergraduate students are all encouraged to apply.
We are part of a dynamic structural biology and biochemistry community with outstanding resources, core facilities, training, and mentoring. As a multidisciplinary lab, we use a variety of approaches including biochemistry, structural biology, cell biology, microscopy, and genetic studies in yeast, bacteria, and mammalian cells to study these processes. The lab is highly collaborative and supportive, and we strongly value colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
To be considered, please send your cover letter, CV, a brief description of research interests, and reference contact information to Dr. Mary Munson at mary.munson@umassmed.edu
