Welcome to the Levitz Lab in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology

Our lab is a part of both the Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology in the Department of Medicine and the Program In Innate Immunity, an interdisciplinary and interdepartmental group of investigators focused on discovering the underlying mechanisms that drive immune defenses and inflammation.​

Our research focus: The immunology of fungal infections

  • Vaccine development in Cryptococcus neoformans
  • Eosinophil cytokine production in allergic aspergillosis
  • Identification of immunoreactive fungal proteins
