Welcome to Grafton Hill House

Project Woo Socks aims to improve foot health in the Worcester community, notably among individuals experiencing homelessness. Studies show that people experiencing homelessness travel large distances, on average 10 miles, each day to access food, services, and other basic needs. It is difficult to keep socks and shoes clean and dry especially in the winter, and damaged or dirty socks pose a high risk to foot health as well as creating an additional level of discomfort while navigating unstable housing conditions. Providing fresh socks is a meaningful way to promote safety and dignity within the Worcester homeless community.
