Research

Faculty members in the Division of Hematology-Oncology actively participate in research. We believe that expert clinicians and investigators can provide the best and most advanced care for people with cancer and blood disorders. Research in the division includes laboratory-based study, translational investigation, and the largest selection of advanced clinical trials in central Massachusetts. Our research efforts are enhanced by the resources of the UMass Cancer Clinical Research Office and the outstanding scientific environment of UMass Chan Medical School, including the UMass Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Research Core Facilities.
