Clinical Care
We offer expert care for the entire spectrum of Hematology/Oncology disorders and all stages of disease. Our clinicians treat you with sensitivity, compassion, and respect at UMass Memorial Medical Center and at community sites throughout central Massachusetts. Certain highly advanced treatments, including blood and bone marrow transplant services, are available only at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Hematology/Oncology faculty members work closely with your primary care provider and with other specialists to deliver expert, individualized, multidisciplinary care. Support services, such as oncology nursing, social work, nutritional counseling, home care coordination, educational seminars, support groups, a volunteer program, and American Cancer Society resources are available to patients and their families.

The UMass Cancer Clinical Research Office, an integral component of the UMass Memorial Cancer Center and the UMass Chan Medical School, conducts extensive research and clinical trials, and utilizes the latest discoveries from laboratories and research centers worldwide.
