How to apply for the fellowship?
Interested candidates should submit an application through the AAMC’s Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). The site provides up-to-date information on the ERAS application process.
The Clinical Informatics Fellowship will participate in the AMIA Clinical Informatics Fellowship Match and not the NRMP. All Applicants must be a current AMIA member.
Program Name: UMass Chan Medical School Program.
Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency or a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)-accredited residency program. We consider applicants from ALL types of residency programs even though the fellowship is sponsored by the UMass Chan Department of Medicine.
Program size: The fellowship is approved for 4 fellows and the goal is to have 2 fellows, per year.
Interviews: Interviews will take place via video conferencing in November 2022.
Important Dates for AMIA Match
- November 15: Applicants and Programs verify information in Academic Forum Match software
- December 1: Programs begin entering rank order list
- December 2: Deadline for applicants to rank order list
- December 7: Deadline for program rank order list
- December 14: Individual/Program Match results available
- December 16: Scramble available
- January 18, 2023: All Match results posted publicly
