Our Mission
The UMass Family Medicine Global Health track is designed to enhance the training of family medicine residents in the key principles of global health.

Our Goals
To develop......Clinicians who will provide competent and compassionate primary care in any setting.....Learners with the capacity and desire to learn from other disciplines and cultural contexts......Educators skilled to teach a variety of learners of different levels and disciplines….Leaders prepared to guide health care policy and the distribution of health care resources to improve the health of vulnerable populations....Researchers capable of assessing needs of the community and using research to promote health and treat disease in the global context....
