Our office is staffed by communications and marketing professionals who are adept at distilling and highlighting complex ideas into accessible stories that illuminate the promise and value of scientific research, inclusive health care education and broad-reaching public service for our diverse audiences across the commonwealth, the country and the world.

The team includes dedicated writers, editors, videographers, media relations experts and social media producers who collaborate to share the stories that make UMass Chan unique and compelling.

Our work can be seen can be seen daily on our interactive media news site, social media channels, and in independent reporting on media outlets locally, regionally and globally. We also produce the print magazine @umasschan twice annually and the Voices of UMass Chan podcast.

In addition to highlighting the innovative work happening at UMass Chan, our office provides guidance on media relations and media training, effective use of social media, and brand compliance.
