Free swimming lessons were provided for roughly 100 children and teens at the YMCA in downtown Worcester.

The pilot program is expected to impact up to 600 area residents in 13 communities, including Worcester.  

Eleven teams of medical students, faculty members, residents and staff are the recipients of the 2025 Remillard Family Community Service Fund grants.

The lecture is part of a new education and research program funded through a $200,000 gift from the Last Call Foundation to UMass Chan.

A group of UMass Chan Medical School students and staff members spent their Saturday morning instructing a hands-only CPR and AED training for nearly 50 parishioners at St. Anne Church in Southborough.

The annual awards are sponsored by the Office of Faculty Affairs and the Women’s Faculty Committee of the Diversity and Inclusion Office.  

Water Safe Worcester’s summer session is underway every Wednesday night through the end of August. The program is free and open to all teenagers in the Worcester area.
