Committee on Equal Opportunity and Diversity (CEOD)
About
The Committee on Equal Opportunity and Diversity (CEOD) supports innovations in personal and professional growth and advancement across all levels of employment and education. The CEOD collaborates with and provides oversight and feedback to UMass Chan’s Diversity and Inclusion Office on its policies, procedures and activities to meet the institution's diversity goals. The CEOD promotes and enhances UMass Chan’s efforts to build a culturally diverse and inclusive environment in recruiting, hiring, admitting, promoting, compensating, and retaining staff, faculty and students. The committee is structured into four specialized subcommittees: Advocacy, Belonging, Education and Service, each responsible for specific areas of focus as outlined in the committee’s bylaws. If you are interested in joining a CEOD, please reach out to ceod@umassmed.edu.
