Amy Reyes, MLIS, AHIP
Amy Reyes, MLIS, AHIP (she/ella/they) is an education and clinical services librarian at the Lamar Soutter Library at UMass Chan Medical School. Reyes is passionate about improving health and science communication and information access, health literacy, and health equity. Prior to joining UMass Chan, Reyes worked at University of California, Los Angeles, as a community engagement librarian for the Pacific Southwest Region of the Network of the National Library of Medicine. She worked to promote awareness of the National Institutes of Health's All of Us Research Program as well as citizen science and health literacy. She previously ran early literacy programs, after school STEM programs and a makerspace for a public library. Reyes has a Master of Science in library and information science from the University of Denver, and is completing a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Arizona State University.
